   Where's the viewing mall?
   Saturday, July 31, 2004, 9:07 PM

Okay, so some of the Fuglies of DT asked me why i always blog about the now-known-as sugarbebeh. It works like this... Whatever i blog about, it's how i spent my day. So if stuff are focused on her, it just means i spent lots of time with her, okay? And Doctor Ronnie, if you're reading this, you rock man!

We ran loose off the Astronomy Club's leash of orientation. It was dull and boring! The committee look like super nerds and they can't even use simple correctly used english in their emails anyway. Bah~ Met Ken of EI there too. He turned out to be a friendly candy-loving guy.

And so it was another night with her. Nevermind the cranky, uncomfy sleeping positions. Everything was good. Taught her some guitar. Erm, okay okay. I won't blabber much about our time together. Somebody said she hates lovely couples so i better shush. [No lah, too much stuff happened with our night out that it'll take a novel to storytell it].

Oh and Thik, Lix and i engaged in some 'Counter Spit' game thingy in the AI shower loo after our match. It got my undies wet but it was well worth it. Fun like hell, i tell you. Hell is not fun, but it's a term to exaggerate it... Y'know..

Presently tired, knee-bumped and lacking in sleep.
Entry got too long, and i'm super vain when it comes to design. So i'll reply to tags tomorrow okay!

   The talks' on death.
   Wednesday, July 28, 2004, 10:09 PM

Death.
That's the topic lately. Everyone's been talking about it and it's too close to us to be ignored. A few days ago, a Year 1 Nursing student committed suicide. Just now, the Bishan MRT arsehole. And the trip to the Dover Park Hospice.

I never knew what a hospice does until the trip there just now. I thought it just houses the useless elderly. Let me explain in my words: The place where you try to live your last days of your life before you die. The patients there are eventually gonna die. That's freaking sad. We're supposed to interact with them. The fact that the patients didn't really show their appreciation much at first kinda got us uncomfortable. But it didn't stop us from interacting. I got hooked with this boggly-eyed scary grumpy not-so-friendly looking guy. I felt lazy to layan him at first, but it got to my head that whatever i do should satisfy some of his last desires in life. And i did it with my heart. Gosh. In the end of it, the patients actually showed their sheer appreciation to us, some individually, and some as a group. Such joy in their faces... Was brought about because of our involvement in the program. I hate the hospice. It's a happy place which brings about too much emotions.

P/S: Joyce took the wrong choice of songs... Like lines were:
Killing me softly - Oh My GOD!
You'll Be Like Heaven to Touch - Whoa.
And i Thank God I'm Alive - That's just wrong!

"We cannot add days to their life but we can add life to their days."

Sorry my heart's on one direction.
   Monday, July 26, 2004, 11:52 PM

It was a good day. Hee. Kinda got to know how some of the Fuglies gurrs communicate with each other. Learnt the different languages of MRT messages. Hurhur. Had one of those nice heartful evenings with her. Real coo. Got some precious good luck. Real coo. Got embarrassed because of something silly i did. Not so coo.

Thinking of quitting soccer and just slack away with Astro Club with sugarbebeh. My heart doesn't belong to competitive soccer anymore, it seems. Furthermore, i feel inferior to the majority others in the NYP team who have clubs. Still deciding. Match day tomorrow.

Blinking wonder replies:
[Faezah] Thanks for all the updating but sorry i didn't make it :P
[Fizo] Actually, Yishun or not Yishun, all i need is a bike. Harhar..
[Tea] Heylo Tea! Long time so see...
[Keith] Too bored is an excuse... Heheh. August? It's just so the month. About Fifi? That's a taboo, man. Straight up.
[Sugaaa] Birthday(s) is just one of the good things!
[Khai] KHAI!!!!! Why didn't you tegur man?!! Paiseh man!!! If whatever you heard tween us was silly, it's normal! Hahaha.. [Shit man. Busted].
[All] I'll quit soccer just to have time to thank you guys!

   Neverlasting headbang.
   Sunday, July 25, 2004, 5:01 PM

I'm totally wasting away my weekends man!
I can't even finger the guitar properly anymore!
And i realized i didn't blog much this week. Sorry to all the fans of my blog, yaar. Haha, the biggest fan i have are on my room's ceiling.

Carmen's given me a new nickname, 'ARS' (she spells it that way) - Pronounced like 'Yas' without the 'Y'. Riight. SNZ is sixpence none the richer than mocca. Pai looking for a new hiding ground. Faezah still can't admit that she's 2nd to me in being the biggest fan of wooden wrist-thingies. Keith seems very serious online lately, i don't know what's up. Kelly's starting to blabber crap stuff. Geraldine still acting like a bitch (kinda good at it too).

4th week of school already, tomorrow.
We're getting old so quickly.
August is so.. THE MONTH man. Come, August. Come! Quick!

   On-stage dream by the beach.
   Saturday, July 24, 2004, 11:29 PM

Left for the beach on Friday evening to spend some time with her. Got back at 2++pm just now feeling as shagged as hell.
Quality time, beb ;)

Too shagged, still! Short entry. Need rest.

Carmen and Kelly, i'll link you 2 fuglies later okay. Prolly tomorrow or something.

   Don't give up.
   Tuesday, July 20, 2004, 10:04 PM

I was making coin tosses in my head. To go, or not to go (for the final selections cum friendly match)? She told me to go for it. Her instincts tell me i'll be selected. I want to go too. Failing to show up just makes me feel like a weak coward. So, fuck the injury and the pain! I wasn't ready to give it up without a fight!!!

And so i made it into the team :)
Thanks everyone, for your kind support. I mean it. Hee!

Oh btw, Kelly, link you up laters aiight. Now too tired.

Blinking wonder replies:
[Liza] Hey hey, what'dyou know. Hahaha. Thanks! Study hard okay! Manage your time well.
[Keith] I had little sleep... But it helped anyway. Thanks for the concern though (:
[Sugaaa] Lalalala. I'm Yas.
[Khai] Heehee... Jalan tak tengok orang eh? Hakz. Terussss jer. Tc!
[Faezah] Eh, Jurong? I just might. Next year shmext year! Don't have to wait already, wooh! About the performance, yeah sure, thanks =)
[DeeDee] Aye, you tagged seh! Thanks, i will. You tc too :)
[All] I will endure pain in my right calf just to thank you guys!

   The regretful 50-50 ball.
   Sunday, July 18, 2004, 10:24 PM

I was supposed to follow my parents to a house in YCK for viewing purposes, and a possible purchase. For those who don't know, i'm moving out before next year. My house finally has an interested buyer. About the YCK house, i didn't want to shift there coz it is a few metres away from NYP. I didn't follow them in the end, and was glad they didn't like it :)
Still searching; favoured regions are Woodlands (includes Admiralty and Marsiling), Sembawang, Yishun or Hougang.

Played soccer against some team from Kranji Sec. On one occasion, i challenged an opponent and got the ball, while his swinging leg caught my right calf. I didn't feel it at first but the pain got to me slightly after. It feels like my leg is cramped, but it's not. I have difficulty walking like a normal person now. I'll have to miss Tuesday's NYP friendly match cum final selections. There goes my soccer aspirations... (this actually bothers me a lot. I'm sad). After all the hard work and heart put into the trials...

Blinking wonder replies:
[Liza] Thanks... Hope JC goes good, Thik said it's getting stressful.
[Keith] Thank you, thank you.
[SNZ] Erm... I haven't got into the team yet... ): And will not... i think ):
[Faezah] You know what? I don't think i need it too, but thanks anyway =)
[Shan] What you talking marn? You got a blog? Pass the add, if that's what you're saying... And what email? If you got any silly ones from me, it's not from me. It's pure spam.
[All] I'll make a challenge to the 50-50 ball again and risk getting another calf injured just to thank you guys!

   Solemn Saturday.
   1:49 AM

Keith asked me to tag along to day 2 of BayBeats. Frankly, i was wanting to go so badly since yesternight. Agreed. And then something was stirred and i had to stay [apologies to Keith yar].

Guess what happened was a good thing, coz one of my grannies got sick and i had to visit her later in the night. She can't walk. Heh. But i'm not so close to this one, so i didn't really feel the sympathy.

Sympathy and feelings. I guess they're in no existence in my family already. We're not mafias lah, but... Oh shut up.

Blinking wonder replies:
[Keith] Not in my power to. You should understand somehow..
[Lix] BayBeats sounds Techno. I think the 'Beats' made it techno-sounding. Really. Don't laugh.
[Sugaaa] Hey i finally got you linked :)
[Faezah] Heya, thanks for just now lah eh.. Hee. 10 buckles = 10 bucks = 10 dollars.
[All] I missed BayBeats to thank you guys.

   Baybeats, laughters and exhaustion.
   Saturday, July 17, 2004, 12:22 AM

Came back from BayBeats at Esplanade. It was interesting, really. Bad thing it was a Friday night. Good music, before her and i went off. We ended up spending the time there with each other rather than the show. Extra laughters today =]

Tired and sleepy. But i'm not sleeping yet. I thought i see chicken curry, that's why. And so, my cash has reached it's zero-point and it's only the 17th! Shit man. Gosh, i needed her 10 buckles seh... You were right afterall *thank you*.

Blinking wonder replies:
[Liza] Where got aksyen... Hehe. *Square. Not squamosal suture, sorry.
[Faezah] Eyts. Haven't uh! Hehe. Still selections. Draggy and hair-raising. Anw, yea... I started dancing around since i know you =)
[Fizo] *Square. *Square*! Hahaha.
[Lix] Yeps. That one. Skanky latte.
[Tea] Ouh Tea~ Thanks for the luck. I didn't see you too... [oh and TYM jnr is not me].
[All] You all rock the beats to the bay man! Thank you!

   Jelly legs.
   Thursday, July 15, 2004, 11:42 PM

"Eh, Yas! Tunggu aper?! Tukar abeh warm-up lah!! (translation: wait for what?! Change and warm-up!)" shouted the coach from SAF who does the selections for NYP as i dazed before training started. It was rather stern, but hey, he knows my name now! *dances*

Made it through Phase 4. Was tired just now. Thighs felt like plasticine, but did enough to please the coach. There'll be a friendly match on Tuesday for the newbies (like me) against some team, prolly from the Prime League. Hope i don't suffer any physical cock-ups like today again.

Witnessed the female soccer too. Those butches (harsh! harsh!) are good man!!! They are really good with balls. Go Fathiah (and maybe Hanah too) go!

   I love Ronnie Lim.
   Wednesday, July 14, 2004, 11:44 PM

My Lecturer-Mentor Doctor Ronnie Lim is relaxed and not exactly the cool type, but his jokes are bloody ass-cracking to me. Balls. Like his expressions are close to stagnant and his humour is the kind which just gets to me. I don't know why. Sometimes his sarcasm can make me laugh to death.

The muscles around my scapula region (wink2) are aching like a bitch! I meant the shoulder-blade region; left side. How, tomorrow? Soccer training. Man~ And it's making me feel so darn tired. Now i'm sleepy. Bahhh.

Baybeats on Friday Night. Be there or be squamosal suture.

   Yassie boy.
   Tuesday, July 13, 2004, 10:29 PM

I just got home, feeling shagged. Thought i'd meet her after school and spend some time together, but her biological crankiness stepped forward and it kinda ruined our time. Hence i miss her more now. Sorry for the mild bullying in the end, ya... And thanks for accompanying me :)

Then at 6.15pm, i walked her to the MRT station to wave her goodbye. Then i rushed off to the field for my 2nd NYP trials, Phase 3. Weather was a bitch so we all had to wait for one whole hour doing nothing. Furthermore, i forgot to bring along my phone; and it was tormenting. They made those last-Thursday-selecteds do fast-paced 5-on-2 monkeying for around an hour while the newbies show off what they've got. After that, our tired wobbly legs were made to play 8-a-side with the whole field. Insane! But i made it, heh. Thank you, thank you. Well that means, i have to come back to school on Thursday (for training) afterall... Boo.

   Make it simple tonight.
   Monday, July 12, 2004, 9:22 PM

Doctor Raj said he wouldn't make it on Thursday. It means i have Thursday off! Woohoo!!!!!! Sorry Group 2, but you guys will have the last laugh when we put on our sour faces on Friday. And i absolutely love it that we covered all the bones (in general) in the body.

Witnessed my Year Twos do a talk for pre-school kids on Dental Health at the creche this afternoon. The little kids are so freaking CUTE and NAUGHTY! They humoured our asses off with their natural wit and mischief. Some of us were obviously controlling the temptation of biting their cheeks. (Kinda miss my sisters' young days). My group's gonna have to do the same in the future. Thinking of being in a friendly animal suit with the silly cartoony voice which Ruth and Carmen repeatedly asked me to repeat. Hmmm...

Went back with her tonight. If only we are neighbours. Hee.

Blinking wonder replies:
[Khai] Waalaikumsalam! Kabare baik sini, there? Heheh thanks for taggin!
[Shan] Eh, yope, Cuz. Nothing much is up. You gots blog?
[Faezah] What about the dreadies? You don't deserve to be fucked at. You did nothing.
[Shidd] Hehey~ Yea and it was the only time i saw you in school so far.
[Keith] Tell the cops, or my mama will shoot.
[Kok] Hey man! Rare to see you tag! My classmate Kelly from Peirce knows you. Aiyah, nowadays, who doesn't, right? Ahah. You should come down for Mayon matches pretty soon yea. We have stuff to catch up on i'm sure.
[Erlinna&Sugaaa&Sara] Yeah, sure! Will link ya up shortly.
[Eerah] Aye, i never saw you in school. Did you see me? What class you in?
[All] Thanks for taggin, people! It tempts me to bite your cheeks!

   Hacked.
   Sunday, July 11, 2004, 4:49 PM

My computer's been hacked into! All the windows accounts with passwords had their passwords changed, and all the password hints are set to '123456'. Sick. Gonna experience formation yet again. Hope to keep my files man! Well... The reason for my absence in blogging for the past few days is due to this lah eh. Currently using a Guest account.

School is going great. Had no problems with memory work (so far). Went for NYP soccer trials on Thursday with Yusri. Met and made many friends. 13 teams of 6-7 came. The teams were made randomly, fairly distributed by positions. I played as defender ;) Passed Phase 1, was the first to be shortlisted. Kembang. Passed Phase 2 after that, though we lost like chimps. Phase 3 is yet to happen on this coming Tuesday. I didn't think i'd make it this far, and my lame intention of making it to the trials was actually to try my luck and also to make friends a bit. I won't be disappointed if i don't make it into the team, coz i was one of the few (ard 18) to be shortlisted after Phase 3. If any of you guys are going for the 2nd/3rd selections, all the best! Haa.

Slept over at my dad's last night. Learnt more about my family, hehe. It was rather interesting. Realised that my great grandad's name isn't Sukarnio but Soerokanio. Sweet! And i'm more Indo-Jawa then i thought i am.

What else eh? School books costs a bomb. Got her and mine's favourite perfume. She also got an admirer from NYP. Bah...

   Of computers [again] and school.
   Wednesday, July 07, 2004, 5:56 PM

Okay, i was too caught up with activities non-related to the computer (or as Elly put it before, life). Today's won't be a long one, but who cares, i'm back!!!

Orientation was great! My class turned out to be cool! I am not the only guy! This guy named Yusri tagged along, while another guy, Ah-Fu, joined us on day 1 after missing out the orientation. It's already day 3 as i type this, and all is going well. And uh just another thing to say about my classmates: They aren't bad looking at all =] Met many familiar faces. Saboh-ed to become the Assistant Class Rep.

My timetable was changed to something more pleasant to the eye after some changes. That means, i'm gonna have a normal life afterall. CCA fair was on and to tell the truth, it was good. I was very impressed by most of the CCAs, but i know time is gonna be tightly used in the future. So, no CCA (cept maybe soccer if i qualify or astro for her).

Yesterday, i found out my weakness. Only 1 other person knows about it now. It's gonna remain untold to anyone. Hahaaa. Thanks girl. Sshh.

Blinking wonder replies:
[Keith] Bah. The matches are structured! Nvm, as long as Czech didn't win.
[Khai] I didn't get lost! Thank you!
[Feez] Really? Did you try grabbing your gonads while at it? LoL kidding, don't cry.
[Luqman] You did? Haha. Yeah, i guess you did, but i didn't see you.
[Nana] You mean that one? *points*
[All] If there is a CCA in NYP which involves nothing but thanking you guys for tagging or visiting here, it'll be my first choice! [hehe Shidd, i read your entry. Somehow it compliments me, but i still fit my S-size tee].

This is her. Yas was and will be on a short hiatus. Be sure to keep the taggy moving though. Apologies and thanks!
