   2 birds, 1 stone.
   Monday, August 28, 2006, 10:13 PM

Today's just one of those days whereby a lot has happened and it feels like it was worth living for.

Passed my BTT in 8 minutes. It's potentially insane to fail it.

Got back my Motor Insurance certificate from NewUnion today, and they'll be showing off a 'new' bike to me on Friday... If i like it, i'll be going for it! Kinda excited.

Received 2 lovely kittens from Lola's sister since they're clearing their stock of more than 20 cats. They're so tiny and adorable, bound to melt the rockiest of hearts. I doubt my family's ability to take care of them though, and they might be off to a better home.

Lots more happened but i'll save on the details. Toodles.

[Pinko] You bet :(
[Cady] Why the excitement, and why for sure? This is amazing.
[Kelly] Hey that's cool... The Wheezers!
[Keith] Season mo? Wha?
[Fizo] Nawh, not much actually. I took them seats and saddlebags away before selling. All in all, i lost only around $100 worth of accessories, which is considered okay. Have you been riding?

   Happy Birthday, Lola!
   Sunday, August 27, 2006, 3:10 AM

Goodbye to LoliTA150... Sold the bike to a nice guy. Miss the colour, the pickup, the outlook and a lot more but it's a move i had to make. So yes, i'm back to public transport and it feels shitty like hell again! Will save money slowly to get an ideal economical cruiser.

NAPFA turned out to be fun. Haha... Seeing classmates (and both Doctors Mok and Hema) test their bodies. I did fairly well, was pumped to get at least a Silver, but my 2.4km went wrong again (since 2002). My best effort in my life was 12 minutes, and that was during my tough Track&Field days. Was quite disappointed to see 12:13 on my 5th lap and i decided not to torture my body and sat it out. My whole body's aching now. I'm quite eager to go for a re-test though, 2 months off NS means a lot to me. How? Anyone keen to join?

Had dinner with Lola's family in celebration of her belated birthday, at Lestari. Saw Subhi and Liza. On the actual day, we had a simple day out and got some bites at Swensens. Lola's having her big break now and it drains me off academics even more. The motivation to carry on is getting lesser by the day. The frustrating Communications project is finally done and over with. I'll prolly get terrible results but i do not care anymore.

[Joyce] How come?! Unfair!
[Liza] The latest ones are due to the 'impression-taking' thingy that we guys did.. Apparently ulcers may develop like hotcakes after the procedure. Thanks for the tip though!
[Ijah] Haha... Wells, you didn't have to be there to say hello.
[Ruth] Heylo!

   Movies @ The Padang.
   Monday, August 21, 2006, 1:52 AM

Saturday was impression-taking at NDC. I partnerred a braces-ful Cady. She was quite good at it, despite 4 ulcers. 3 developed early, then another cropped. 2 on the floor of the mouth, 1 on the right cheek beside my molars and the other on the right, near the angle of mouth.
Since i was DrMervyn's guinea pig too, i had 2 casted models. Maybe DrMervyn caused the ulcers, but i'm sure of who attributed to the 2 floor-of-mouth ones ;)

I tried on Cady despite the danger of damages to her braces. It failed for both upper and lower arches but it was quite fun. It was only when i reached home then i realised, i was never able to be successful - she has ortho wires!

Spent the evening till midnight at The Padang with Lola. Class 95FM had this Movies at The Padang thingy, which was very cool! Movies were free, weather was good, shops available till midnight, everyone's to be seated on their own mats, DJs were funny and cool, activities were enjoyable! It was a nice experience for us.
I mean, imagine - A picnic cum free movies! Awesome!

   Let's do the boobies dance!
   Wednesday, August 16, 2006, 9:59 PM

Rihanna's SOS video is insane, and i've never been bored of it since the first day it got launched at YouTube. The most impressive move was the 'boobies dance', whereby her shoulders move in a way that it flaunts her chest so much, it looks so weird yet sexy and potentially wood-giving.
It's kinda impossible to immitate the move, but i tried, in front of Lola. She laughed on and on an on, and she didn't only teared, she cried.

On a darker note, my DeviantArt subscription is ending soon! 2 more days, in fact! Dammit... Anyone willing to subscribe for me? Please..?
Nevertheless, my gallery is still available for viewing here.

EPL is staring this weekend! I can't wait! Lola's gonna get sick of Saturday nights. As the unperfect guy that i am, i let her share my #1 spot in my priorities list with Manchester United.

[Queen] You're the jackass queen.
[Fizo] Nawh, he doesn't look a tad bit like him too. He looks like a typical Chinaman.
[Cady] Haha! Maybe not, because you might influence her soft and unpulluted mind...

   Fireworks aftermath.
   Sunday, August 13, 2006, 9:31 PM

The fireworks festival is over.
Yesterday was France, and though not as colourful as Caledonia, they showed why they're back by popular demand. Their finale timing was a bit screwed up, but nobody cares. The Esplanade and Marina Square was littered terribly on the aftermath and i feel it's such a disgrace.

Managed to watch them all with Lola, who's jackass skills are really improving i shall say. Example:
It was 8.55pm. As i watched the excited crowd behind me, she pointed to the sky with such urgency and went, "Hey look!!!". I focused on this goon behind me and chose to ignore the others, and i saw him rushing to find his camera with his hands while his eyes suddenly focused onto the empty sky. Lola was giggling uncontrollably in mischief and the paiseh guy acted like nothing happened. It was hilarious, his hands were all over the place and you could just smell the adrenaline pumping.

[Cady] We should shout them colours next year!
[Liza] I thought YOU became serious! Haha!
[Kelly] I think you're being too serious. These are called random humour, only some people get it, though there's nothing to get.
[PasserBy] You're funny too!
[Joyce] No! Those people who blocked you aren't 'like me'. They are just people who perhaps read my blog and thought of trying it out on shorties.
[RieVan] Haha! Maybe in the future i'll make my blog interactive, so fellow visitors can add on to lists such as that one.

   Fireworks jackass.
   Thursday, August 10, 2006, 10:16 PM

I thought of some jackass stuff that can be done during the fireworks festival.

While you walk across the huge crowd waiting for the show to start, or if you're already part of it, pretend to talk on the phone and go:

1) "What?! The fireworks show's cancelled?! Why?! Really?! Fuck!"
2) "Yes, launch the stuff at 9PM, not now. I know you guys are excited. Don't delay, the crowd's huge here."
3) "No, dammit! Not purple! Start with the white and red!"
4) "Shoot them slowly okay, we got to burn like, 12 minutes like the other 2 countries."

Or talk to a friend:

1) "Eh you know, they're gonna shoot this HUGE red ones and some purple ones will sparkle around it. [More random blabbers here]. Just watch, just watch. I saw their rehearsal yesterday."
2) "You know, i farted this huge one. See if the crowd notices it when the fireworks start."
3) "What the hell are they looking into the sky for?"
4) "Secret makeout place, my ass!"
5) "Wow it's so crowded, i think i'll try touching some asses."

Or:

1) Steal a camera/tripod or both.
2) Advertise your auctioned items.
3) Step on those who are seated and say, "Ouch! Fucker."

During the show:

1) Shout every colour that you see exploding in the sky, and drag the pronounciations, eg: "Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnn~~!!"
2) Shout to a friend, "This is for you, baby! Will you marry me?!"
3) Argue on the phone, "Fuck, this is not what i told them to do!!!"
4) "I regret this spot. The people here stink."
5) Stand and block short people.
6) Make loud sex noises.
7) Push the people standing close to the water.
8) Demand buying drinks from the apek stall when the apek's clearly engrossed with the show.
9) Continuously shout "Boring!" and "Lame!".
10) "Holy shit that one looks like my areola during my HIV days.."

   Fireworking.
   Sunday, August 06, 2006, 1:44 PM

Not been blogging, kinda busy with my usual shit.
Had to skip the jam on Thursday night, turns out Yan gave it a miss too, so more or less it was a big waste of time for the rest. Sorry yah...

Fireworks Festival yesterday @ The Esplanade. The crowd was unbearable. Somehow i think it's ridiculous to wait HOURS just for a 12-minute show. Lola and i reached half and hour before it started and got a perfect view of it. I've watched more than like 10 fireworks displays since being with Lola so i wasn't really too excited about it. I was thinking... How the hell can this one be different from the occasional stuff i've been seeing?!

But kudos to team Italia for shooting up NEW stuff! Maybe it's just team Singapore that's boring, since i've watched them over and over again but nothing was new. The sparks which stayed in the sky and shot multiple times after certain delays, the rows of sparks gliding with parachutes & sparks bouncing off the sea.
Their start was cool - shooting in the colours of red, green and white. I wonder if Singapore's gonna shoot just red and white.. Gah. The ending's cool too.

So yes, i'm definitely satisfied watching it and will recommend watching it to my family and you readers, but don't wait for hours, yea? Just watch it, it's not long. It starts at 9pm. Stand around and you won't be blocked. Unless you never saw more than 2 displays of fireworks in your lifetime.

[Liza] You find out which's is scarier and tell me.
[Keith] You talked about TV people adjusting their hair.. And then mentioned Poltergeist, which is a phenomenon whereby things lose attachment to the physics of gravity... Wha?
[RieVan] Thanks, anyways i finally found the Ira. Or rather, she found me.
[HuiPing] I'm going to trust the papers a lot.
[Ijah] I guess you decided to wear spectacles after that it was the changing factor. Haha lame joke.
[Cady] & [Fizo] She was in white and i was in red. We're Singapore. Kapish?
[Kelly] Yeah, i think she's gorgeous too... (Haha :P Plus-pointers fishin~). Anyways i did not photoshop it, it's all leeched off Lola's own Photobucket after she resized them.
[Pearline] Will be, but not soon. Around 40mb more. Haha!
[All] Thanks lah for tagging.
